Do real estate agents have boundaries? You can tell a lot about a real estate agent by how they respect your boundaries.

Think about children. Do they have boundaries? Of course not! They have no boundaries at all. I know my kids, they climb all over me and if the bathroom door isn’t locked they might just walk in there on me.
How about big business? Take for example Countrywide Mortgage. When the floodgates were open and houses were selling like 5 cent draft beers at a football game, what did they do? They had no boundaries either. They climbed all over you and disrespected your boundaries. They took advantage of you and took what they wanted instead of giving you what you needed.
Do real estate agents have boundaries? Can some agents be overly aggressive by disrespecting your boundaries?
Do some real estate agents respect your boundaries? Do they back off when you want them to and guide you in the right direction when you need them to.
I hope it’s the latter. I believe the problem for most real estate agents is that everyone has different boundaries. Discovering your boundaries is part of a real estate agents job but you as the client also has to define those boundaries for your agent. I hope that they pick pick up on the clues to find your boundaries.
Don’t be afraid to say no or tell your agent the honest truth, whatever the truth may be.
Once a real estate agent has violated your boundaries, then what?
