This colonial on Norman Circle in Stratford CT caught my eye this morning. It’s a very nice looking four bedroom with a real master bedroom and walk in closet. Lots of room to spread out for a big family here at just under 2200 s.f. You probably wont have to stand in line for a bathroom either with two full bathrooms and a half bath to boot.

Yes, I am a real estate agent here in Stratford CT but I may not be the best real estate agent for you. Let me explain.
Certain real estate agents have certain skills that make them a better match for certain people. I’m not a good match for some people or I may be exactly the type of Stratford CT real estate agent that you’re looking for.
Some agents specialize in condos or luxury homes. Other agents specialize in foreclosures and short sales. Some agents only sell homes and can’t be bothered helping people buy a home.

Can You Identify The Damage, The Poor Constuction, And The Severity? I Can!
That’s an easy question for me to answer as I have been acquiring a special set of skills for the last ten years.
I have been drawings home and managing construction sites as a field representative for architects. Basically, I draw the blueprints and then coordinate with contractors to be sure that they are building new homes or remodeling older homes according to the building codes and the blueprints.
I know exactly what a well built home looks like and I also have a very good handle on how much work is involved in a remodeling project. I can help you avoid a money pit or identify a true diamond in the rough.

I like this house! I really do. It’s a modest house here in Stratford CT.
Summer Street is in a nice neighborhood here in Stratford. I actually live just a couple blocks away. When my sister was looking to buy a house in Stratford we looked at nearly every house for sale in that area. We became intimately familiar with the neighborhood.
I like the one car garage and the green accent wall at the fireplace. The tile surround is a really nice touch. The intricately detailed mantel also looks great in picture.
I look at lots of homes for sale in Stratford every day. With my background in architecture I can be a little particular of what constitutes a nice house. I see homes for sale all the time that are terribly proportioned and just look like a train wreck. This colonial on Nichols Avenue (CT Route 108) is not one of them.
This colonial is nicely proportioned and in my opinion, needs the perfect amount of updating. Not much is new but nothing is old. Everything appears to be in great shape! It’s the type of house you can move into right away and update things to your liking when you are ready.
I think you may already know this but just to be clear for those that are still trying to figure out what the mls is:
